The Leadership by Design (LBD) program actively encourages students fluent in French to pursue greater mastery of the language, recognizing that effective leadership thrives on inclusivity and linguistic diversity. LBD champions those who seek to become multilingual, standing firmly in their corner as they broaden their horizons.
Over the years, we have consistently advised bilingual LBD students to consider post-secondary institutions which offer programs in both official languages. These students, mindful of their linguistic edge, have demonstrated a commitment to further honing their abilities — securing and amplifying the competitive advantage that bilingualism presents in the marketplace. In essence, the pursuit of bilingual or multilingual excellence is not just a personal asset, but a powerful tool for leadership in Canada’s evolving landscape.
Students need not look too far to find wonderful bilingual post-secondary opportunities. Currently, the LBD partners with Glendon College, York University, and we will look to Glendon for special ways to support LBD’s French language students.
