The Program Advisory Committee for the Leadership By Design (LBD) program provides curriculum advice. Committee members may also contribute to the LBD program as experts in a particular subject (e.g. mathematics teaching/learning; financial literacy; career development; mentorship, etc.), and may also make presentations in their particular field of expertise. Committee members may otherwise contribute to the effectiveness of the LBD program, and to furthering the mission of the Lifelong Leadership Institute (LLI).

Directors of the LLI are ex-officio members of the Program Advisory Committee.
